We Bought The Compound building in August 2007. For the first season we proudly operated the 40,000 cheesy romance novel book shop that occupied the space when we bought it. The Compound Ski Shop opened in October 2008. We quickly doubled our inventories and kicked out the book shop in our second season. Maddy was welcomed to our family January of 2009. By December of 2009 she was on skis.
